Local Priorities Violent crime Concern Update - 38 Arrests Made During Neighbourhood Policing Week

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

As part of Neighbourhood Week, Neighbourhood officers across Hackney made 38 arrests, targeting individuals wanted for a range of serious offences including kidnap, drug supply, violence, burglary and retail crime.

The coordinated activity focused on identifying and apprehending offenders who posed a risk to local communities. Through proactive policing and dedicated neighbourhood patrols, officers successfully removed a number of criminals from the streets.

These arrests demonstrate our continued commitment to tackling crime, protecting the public and making Hackney’s neighbourhoods safer places to live, work and visit. We thank our communities for their ongoing support and the information they provide, which helps us bring offenders to justice.
